she's a happy girl!
Lyla has taken to the band well (with the exception of sleeping). She and Owen love to sit on our front porch and watch the squirrels, birds, cars, etc.
Aren't Bumbo seats amazing?? Ava loved hers! She still sits in it, even though she's a pro at sitting on her own. We use it when we take the wagon for a stroll. Glad she adjusted well to her helmet - great painting job, by the way (but I'm not surprised!)
I there my twin girls (2 months old) have the doc band. I want to paint it but I'm not sure which paint will work best. I do not want to make a mess of it. What type/brand of paint did you use?
Hi Cookie! I think I used Folk Art brand acrylic paint. It's at WalMart in the craft section. Use four coats for the base, dry with a hair dryer in between. Once you've decorated, apply two thick coats of Mod Podge Matte finish and let dry for as long as needed (I did overnight since it was her first day in the band). Good luck!
